This design service may include: obtaining price quotes, procurement, hiring of workrooms, products sourcing, specification and selection of materials, furnishings, accessories, etc, hiring of trades on behalf of the client. For purchases made or services hired on behalf of the client, First Impressions Décor will act as agent, and require a retainer of 75% of the cost of the product/service purchased (by separate invoice). Balance is due the day before scheduled delivery/completion.
- For purchase of fabrics/upholstery, wall coverings, floor coverings, furniture, accessories, etc, the current market price as set by the supplier will be charged. All orders are custom and non-refundable, no cancellations or changes.
- For service rendered by trades hired on behalf of the client, such as painters, wallpaper hangers, carpet installers, drapery installers, electricians, plumbers, tile setters, etc, the client will be charged for each service as set out by the particular trade.
- For the service of workrooms hired on behalf of the client, such as draperies, bedspreads, upholsterers, furniture refinishers, accessories, etc, the client will be charged for the service as set out by the particular workroom. All orders are custom and non-refundable, no cancellations or changes.
Design fee for procurement/administration/installation is charged on an hourly basis.
